Hope Tech 35W Pro 4 Wheelset review

Hope's 35W Pro 4 wheels are super-sturdy, wide enough to make the most of aggressive trail tyres, spin on excellent hubs and offer impressive strength and durability. High weight means they're not the most sprightly option though, and climbing on them can be a chore.

Vaude Trailframe frame bag review

Vaude's Trailframe bag is a tough and waterproof roll top bag, with a side access zipper that keeps your gear easily accessible. It's a simple design that's stable, functional and easy to fit and remove, though the straps can be a bit of a faff.

LifeLine X-Tools Pro Chain Cleaner review

The LifeLine X-Tools Pro Chain Cleaner is a simple, well-designed and extremely sturdy device that strips filth out of your chain with a few spins of the crank. It's easy to use, does an effective job and comes at a great price – there's really nothing about it to dislike.

PRO Turnix Gel Saddle review

The PRO Turnix Gel is a sturdily-built saddle and great for long distance comfort. It's a little bit heavy though, while the price seems a little high.

Zefal Z Adventure F10 bar bag review

The Zefal Z Adventure F10 is a useful bar-mounted bag that's fully waterproof, well-constructed and a good size with its 10 litres of storage. The attachment system seems a little overengineered, however, plus it's a bit fiddly to use and can interfere with cables and hoses.

Hutchinson Toro Koloss Tyre review

With its monster carcass and large tread pattern, Hutchinson's Toro Koloss is the supersized version of the regular Toro tested last year. The main difference is that its best as a front tyre now, digging reliable grip from its large contact patch and chunky knobbles, but the added weight makes for a draining ride at times.

Torque Slimline 12 multitool review

Adding to the plethora of compact multitools on the market, this compact and pocket-pleasingly slim tool has all the useful bits you’d hope for, plus three I never even needed to use. The quality of all 12 tools is high, but the inclusion of three spanners seem very out of touch.

All Mountain Style OS Strap Review

The All Mountain Style OS Strap is focused on securing the barest of essentials, which is to say your punctures repair kit. That's a pretty narrow focus that really limits its usefulness, however, plus it's awkward to fit and insecure unless you manage it perfectly.

Deft Family Catalyst Divide Glove review

Deft Family's Catalyst Divide glove is a lightweight trail glove with an excellent fit, thanks to perfect panelling that runs to all the right places. It's not one for cold weather, but perfect for short trail sessions, warm days or faster riding.

All Mountain Style Mud Guard review

The All Mountain Style Mud Guard does a fair job of keeping roost and spray out of your face, is small and unobtrusive, and has a chunky build that should last. AMS do a ton of strong graphical designs, too. The thick plastic doesn't bend easily enough and can reduce clearance to your tyre, however, and it can only protect you so much.
