Bell Spark helmet review

The Spark is a modern style, clean looking, trail helmet, with ample coverage over your head and an integral visor. There is a MIPS liner equipped version available further up the range, but this non-MIPS version offers a great helmet for not much money.

ODI Dread Lock Grip review

These Dread Lock grips (endorsed by the hirsute Tinker Juarez, geddit?) have a super plush compound and offset design which aims to balance padding without over bulking the grip. They're great for comfort on bigger distance rides or for trail riding for those that don't mind a chunkier grip, though they do come in at a higher price point.

Funn Crossfire stem review

Funn's Crossfire stem is aimed at enduro riding, with a compact, forged design that offers a wider clamp area for increased steering accuracy. I found it to be a stem that is perfect all trail riding, striking a good balance between weight, strength and offers a good clamp area.

Crankalicious Mud Honey Bucket Wash review

This snazzy looking bottle of Mud Honey bike cleaning product from Crankalicious is a strong foaming pH-neutral wash designed to be used in a bucket, with ideally warm water - it's great for getting hard baked muck off your bike if you’ve left it for a while.

Mule Bar Fruit Pulp Pouches review

These 100% vegan natural energy pulp pouches from Mule Bar offer something a little different to the usual sugary, gloopy gels. They're made from real fruit and that means they go down well without any tummy trouble as well as tasting good.

Smith Venture MIPS helmet review

The Venture is a mid-priced trail helmet with a modern look that incorporates the MIPS system. It's extended head coverage and sharp looks meant it performed excellently for the price.

Funn Full On Handlebar review

Funn's Full On handlebars are an economical and durable set of no-nonsense, all-around trail or enduro use bars, with a good shape and plenty of options for width, rise and colour matching.

7Mesh Desperado Merino Jersey review

This casual looking short sleeve top from 7Mesh is perfect for multi-day riding and adventures as its simple cut, merino/polyester blend fabric and breathability makes it versatile both for riding and post-ride use.

Jones Plus SWB Complete review

The Jones SWB is a complete bike, designed, specced and approved by legendary custom builder Jeff Jones as an all-rounder, only built in Taiwan to create a lower-priced option. It doesn't have the unique truss fork but does have the bar and geometry that he's known for. It's a way to get on board a Jones at a more affordable price but the handling is unlikely to suit everyone.

LEM Flow helmet review

The LEM Flow is a very well priced trail or enduro helmet with plenty of coverage, adjustment and interior padding. Out on the trail, it was comfortable, if a little warm at times.
