Video: Chelsea Kimball at the first ever Women's Red Bull Rampage in Utah
Ever since the madness that is Red Bull Rampage came onto our screens and quickly built a reputation of being the world's most extreme, dangerous and adrenalin-fuelled race, there has never been an event that compares to its raw and brutal persona. A race that only men could dream of racing. A race that was deemed 'too extreme' for even the most skilled and brave women riders.
Progression is inevitable and, as women’s talent for risky drops and tricks skyrockets, so does the inclusivity of the male-dominated sport. For years, women gravity riders have been catching up with the men. Or do we say that women have always been as good as men? This has often been overlooked and the mass of doubters suggest that women couldn't even attempt such feats.
