Bike check: Brendan Fairclough's 2024 Red Bull Rampage Scott Gambler
Last year, the Guildford-based rider set Utah's red mountainside alight with one of the most spectacular runs of the event. This year, Brendan Fairclough returns with sights set on redemption to better his fourth place, and here's a close look at this one-off-painted Scott Gambler.

With riders and their teams descending on Red Bull Rampage's chosen mountainside and already cutting in lines, Scott has unveiled Brendan Fairclough's one-of-a-kind Scott Gambler that he'll be riding the event aboard. With a colourway inspired by Porche's TAG 911 cars, built with Formula One engines from 1985 to '86, Brendog's 2024 Rampage bike pays homage to racing, featuring 'Porche Grand-Prix White', 'McLaren Rocket Red' and 'Bugatti Fresh Blue' colours.
Details around the bike include Deathgrip 2 cues, pointing towards the release date of the sequel to one of the best-known mountain bike films ever made.
As for the build itself, it's a large Gambler frame with suspension from Fox with the Podium Gold 40 Factory fork and a DHX2 coil shock.
Hung on the bike is a slew of DMR components, such as the Deathgrips as well as the granks and pedals. Braking is provided by Hayes with a set of Dominion A4s and inflated onto ENVE hoops are a set of Pirelli tyres.
SRAM handles shifting duties and Deity covers the cockpit, saddle and seatpost.
"Couldn't be more excited to be back at Rampage, one of the most fun and scariest events of the year. We're super excited to be back and hope everyone enjoys the journey." - Brendan Fairclough.
