CeramicSpeed unveils special-edition OSPW X pulley system for SRAM Transmission

The Special Edition OSPW X rear derailleur features an iconic gold lower cage finish, and CermicSpeed’s ALPHA disc pulleys. There’s also Active Debris Remover (ADR) technology, which promises to keep trail contaminants out of your derailleur bearings.
But what is ADR? It’s a serrated profile moulded into the pulley wheel’s structure, which displaces trail contaminates like mud and dust as you’re pedalling. CeramicSpeed developed its ADR technology to use the rotational dynamics of pulley wheels to keep dust and dirt at bay.
Compatible with SRAM AXS XX and AXS XO Transmission drivetrains, the Special Edition OSPW X works with large 10-52T cassettes. The gearing popular with riders who need the most generous spread of ratios for climbing and flat-terrain pedalling speed.
Core specifications for the Special Edition OSPW X are 14T upper and 20T lower disc wheel, with the latter featuring composite teeth. Total system weight is 110g.

Passing the toughest race test

CermanicSpeed tested the ADR design at the 2023 Cape Epic, with team Buff/Megamo riding prototype versions in the race’s leading pro group. During the event’s penultimate stage, at Lourensford, teams encountered one of the muddiest and most severe days in Cape Epic history, with most competitors hike-a-biking instead of riding.
After a torturous 2023 Cape Epic that features flooded trail portages, deep mud, and fine dust, the team Buff/Megamo bikes suffered no rear derailleur issues regarding pulley wheel performance or bearing wear. As an example of racing truly validating product endurance and quality, there was little to rival the 2023 Cape Epic.
For committed weekend warriors and those dedicated to their training and racing throughout the depths of winter and dustiest days of summer, the Special Edition OSPW X is an upgrade worth considering. Especially if your ride lots fo off-road training miles annually, through severe weather, and bearing life or pulley wheel efficiency are important to you.
They’re exclusive, too, with only 250 units of the Special Edition OSPW X rear derailleur available for global distribution. However, they're not cheap at €619 a piece.

Exactly. I understand that websites like these need to make money to exist, but blatant promotion of stuff like this without any realism towards the average user do nothing but push people away from your website.
So you are actually reccomending a 619e tiny upgrade for an already high end product as a worthy upgrade for "weekend warriors"? And this is not an add? You have some Ceramicspeed ball bearings pretty deep down your throat.
