off.road.cc adventures: Elan Valley bikepacking bothy trip
We take on an overnight 90km loop in Mid Wales
We like a small spot of adventure at off.road.cc, which is why a bikepacking trip is right up our collective street. In this instalment, we head to the Elan Valley in Mid Wales for a two-day trip that takes in some of the finest and most remote riding that can be had, with a sleepover in a remote bothy.

- Bikepacking basics: bike repair and first-aid kit
- Can you spend a night in the hills and still make it to work on time?

Anyway, we hope you enjoy as Jon and Anna have an adventure riding in Mid Wales as they try and outrun sunset in order to find their remote bothy resting place before dark. Check out the video below!
If you want to know all about where they went and how they did it, we'll be following this up with a full feature soon, but in the meantime, we hope you enjoy this video...

Interesting video, could you point me towards the full feature please?
Yeah, this uses a lot of the same route - certainly for this stretch. Fair play though, 13h for the TCW is damn good going! I did it over three pretty steady days a long while ago and it was still pretty tiring...
In a generally similar area is the Trans cambrian way MTB 105 miles, well worth a ride. Took me 13h in summer conditions.
