OK, hands up we confess, we did miss a week of cool stuff last week. No excuses, we let the ball drop momentarily! We are back this week with a good looking helmet from Lazer, a unique frame strap from Louri, pedals from Bontrager, nifty valve caps with a superb name from Granite Design and gravel shoes from Quoc.
Lazer Coyote mountain bike helmet
A new and considerably better looking helmet has just been launched by Lazer. It's simple, steps in line with the looks of other popular lids such as offerings from Giro and Smith and will come at a reasonable price too. There are MIPS and non-MIPS this one without MIPS is priced at £69.99.
Granite Design Juicy Nippe Valve caps
These valve caps, aside from having a brilliant name also double up in function, allowing you to easily remove valve cores. There are seven different colour options and you can choose from a pair of caps only or caps with two black alloy valve stems in 45mm length.
Bontrager Line Elite MTB pedals
We really liked the Bontrager Line Pro pedals when we tested them so have high hopes for these cheaper nylon pair. At just £39.99, these weigh a claimed 350g and have 20 replaceable pins per pedal.
Louri Frame Strap
Renowned for sporting a huge and varied collection of frame strap designs, Louri has recently revealed a collaboration with Jo Burt (of Mint Sauce fame) producing this funky strap. Jon and Rach both have one - who will wear it the best?! We've reviewed a strap here.
Quoc Gran Tourer All Terrain Gravel shoes
Quoc is a UK-based company best known for making very high-quality leather lace-up cycling shoes for the most discerning cyclists, but its latest product, the Gran Tourer All-Terrain, is aimed at the growing adventure and gravel bike market. Launched via Kickstarter last year with £50,000 of funding sought to put the new shoes into production, the campaign is now complete and you can buy the shoes online for £183.
