5 cool things from Crankbrothers, Tioga, Gusset, Problem Solvers and Donnelly
Last week was all about the Cycle Show, whilst we were away a load of new kit landed at off-road.cc including wheels from Crankbrothers, a saddle from Tioga, tyres from Donnelly, Gusset grips and a nifty way to attach kit to your bike from Problem Solvers.
Crankbrothers Synthesis wheels
This is a brand new wheelset from Crankbrothers and something quite different from their usual twin pair spoke collection. These wheels are made from carbon (with a lifetime warranty) and have been designed by people who have their roots in composite wheel production. There are three wheelsets on offer, meaning there is a Synthesis wheel for downhill, enduro and cross-country are all 'tuned' to ensure the right amount of stiffness versus compliance for mountain bikes. For more information on the wheels and how the front and rear differ from each other, take a gander at our 'first look' here.

Tioga UndercoverStratum Saddle
Ridiculously light and seriously bendy, the UndercoverStratum saddle is one for mountain bike and gravel weight weenies. In this carbon railed form it weighs just 150g. Tioga says the spring-like, SpyderWeb structure stays active throughout the ride, soaking up bumps more efficiently than foam padding alone.

Problem Solvers
This is probably my pick of this week's new gear, these attach to your bike on bottle cage mounts and will use any kind of strap to fix gear to your bike. These serve as anchor points and will allow you to carry up to 3lb of gear.
Donnelly X-Plor USH tyres
This pair look fit for gravel bikes that also spend a fair amount of time on the road. We've got them in 700c x 35 to fit to a suitable 'go anywhere' bike. In case you were wondering - the USH refers to the airport code of Ushuaia on the island of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world, and the ultimate destination for adventure bike touring. So there you go....
Gusset S2 Lock-on Grips
With pretty much every pattern under the sun on one grip and some squishy rubber to boot, the new Gusset S2 grips look pretty versatile. These are 32mm wide and 131mm in length and have a list of features as long as our handlebars are wide including; an off centre eccentric core design, a dedicated thumb grip zone and a tapered core with closed rubber end.
