Canyon launches Pure Cycling weekend in the Forest of Dean
If you fancy demoing some bikes, meeting the likes of DH legend Fabien Barel and supporting (and riding) new trails around the Forest of Dean, then Canyon's Pure Cycling weekend on the 11th and 12th May will be right up your street.
- The best gravel and adventure bikes you can buy for under £1,000
- Buyer's guide to mountain bikes - get the best MTB for you
- Is it worth converting your mountain bike to tubeless?
It'll be taking place at the Cannop Cycle Centre in the heart of the Forest, which is conveniently surrounded by plenty of top-notch road, gravel and mountain bike riding. That's just as well because Canyon will have a load of demo bikes to try out, plus ride outs, competitions and you can even get on an uplift if you don't fancy riding to the top of the mountain bike trails.
Downhill legend and Canyon's Factory Racing team manager Fabien Barel will be hosting an e-MTB hill climb challenge, a pump track competition and assisting the coaching for the local kid's group, the ‘Little Fodders’. We bet he wins them all.
There's a £5 per head ticket fee for the weekend - all of which will go to the Dean Trail Volunteers to help maintain the trails - and there will also be a whole load of other brands in attendance, with the likes of Nuun hydration, Crank Brothers, Fizik and Muc Off showing off their wares.
