YT Industries is known for bringing high-grade bike specifications to the masses. With its latest Capra and Izzo uncaged 11 product drop, Ohlins suspension comes standard.
The Capra Uncaged 11 is a mixed-wheel enduro rig that comes with 170mm of travel at both ends. Delivering the damping up from is an Ohlins RXF38M.2 fork which is paired with a TTXM coil shock, both of which use similar tech found on its downhill-going range mates.
This bike uses YT's High Modulus carbon fibre frame and rolls on a Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro carbon wheelset that's kitted with the usual Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tyre pairing: a Double Down casing at the rear and sticky Maxx Grip rubber at the front.
Uncaged 11 brings in SRAM's latest groupset, GX Eagle Transmission as well as a RockShox AXS Reverb dropper post. The bike is finished off with an e*thirteen TRS Plus chain guide, SRAM Code RSC brakes and a Renthal cockpit.
Onto the Izzo and the theme remains the same. Its 130mm of rear travel is sorted thanks to an Ohlins TTX1 air shock and 140mm of squish up front is covered with an RXF36M.2 fork. Just like the Capra, this bike gets SRAM's GX Transmission shifting but it rolls on a lighter-weight Crankbrothers Synthesis XTC carbon wheelset. There's a pair of Maxxis Minion DHR II tyres and SRAM G2 RSC brakes.
The finishing kit on the bike is provided by Race Face with the Next carbon bar and Turbine stem, ODI grips and an SDG Bel Air 3.0 saddle. It gets a RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post.
As for prices, the Capra Uncaged 11 will set you back £5,500 while the Izzo Uncaged 11 is priced at £5,300.
