YT Industries expands its Performance Wear range with Gravity and Trail legwear
YT has expanded its Performance Trail range with legwear. The Gravity and Trail pants and shorts add to the collection which the brand first launched last year, and until now offered a selection of jerseys for all manners of riding.

YT's latest legwear range isn't just any off-the-shelf clobber, as it's all been designed in-house, then tested and approved by the brand's very own race team. The bottoms have been designed to give riders of all abilities the confidence to push boundaries and keep rolling even after the odd tumble.
With that, the brand has created the Gravity Pants and Shorts which are designed to cope with the harshest conditions mountain biking can throw at them. Both of the new items benefit from a four-way stretch DWR-coasted construction as well as a Cordura Ripstop material in the areas that'll see the most abuse. The legs are tapered with stretchy inserts at the ankle to keep the excess fabric from finding its way into a bike's drivetrain. There's also an articulated knee to retain ease of movement.
As for the closure, it utilises a ratchet system with a velcro waist adjust. The Shorts get all of the same features but with shorter legs.
Next up are the Trail Pants and Shorts and unlike the Gravity offering, these are available in both men's and women's sizes. These are built from a Cordura fabric and they get pre-shaped knees to allow plenty of room for pads. There are then three zipped pockets as well as a handy DWR coating, and four-way stretch material.
As for pricing, the Trail Shorts cost £80 and the Pants are £100 while the gravity shorts will set you back £90 and the Pants £110.
