Hope: Inside the Factory from hopetech on Vimeo.
Started in 1989, Hope was a pioneer of early disc brakes for mountain bikes and now it manufactures everything from hubs and brakes to cranks. The brand has always done the bulk of its manufacturing at home in the UK, having always believed in local manufacturing. This means that brakes, for example, can be machined in the morning and anodized that very afternoon.
“It’s over 30 years now of manufacturing bike parts. We’re all very passionate about what we do – almost everyone here rides – and in this day and age we’re proud to be able to say that virtually all Hope products are designed and manufactured in the UK. Hopefully, this film gives an insight into what makes us tick and what drives the ongoing process of innovation.” - Ian Weatherill, Hope co-founder and managing director.
We'll let the video do the rest of the talking.
