Trail Unknown mountain bike guides diversify to launch webinar series with industry experts
Mountain bike guiding company, Trail Unknown have just launched their new webinar series. The series was born as their guiding work came to an enforced halt due to Coronavirus, the interactive webinar series will feature the interview of an outdoor industry expert each week and participants get the chance to ask their own questions too.

If you were to think 'interactive podcast via video call' you'd be on the right lines and have a good idea of how the Trail Unknown webinar will look. The webinar will take place every Friday at 2pm over Zoom and all you need to do to take part is register here. All you need to do is make sure you can run the Zoom app on your phone, tablet or computer and be ready with your questions. Upon registration, Trail Unknown will send you the Zoom meeting ID which you log into at the time of the call. There you will see Hugo and Tom from Trail Unknown interviewing the guest as well as all the other participants in the call.
We think it sounds like a really unique and interesting idea! Trail Unknown say that they have guests including Chris Seager talking about his experience co-directing Deathgrip, Emily Bennett from Ordnance Survey and for the first episode Sam Saskia Dugon talking about her photography and social media work as she follows the UCI World Cup circuit. They told us they also have a whole host of panellists lined up as they head into the summer.....

Episode 1 - Friday 10th April, 2pm. How to create and use epic social media content to excite your audience: with Saskia Dugon Photography. Sam is a professional photographer specialising in mountain bike journalism. Sam has worked with brands like Monster Energy to capture engaging stories such as the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup and DarkFest. Learn how Sam runs the social media for Canyon Bicycles, gets her work published in magazines and goes about creating epic and engaging content for successfully growing social media audiences for outdoor brands.
Episode 2 - Friday 17th April, 2pm. A masterclass in film making for adventure sports brands: Chris Seager, Aspect Media. One of Chris's defining achievements has been codirecting Deathgrip (2017), a full length MTB film that exploded to the top of the iTunes charts and sold to Netflix. Learn how Chris turned his hobby into his job, pushed the boundaries of creating exciting content, redefined the art of product placement and worked with major brands like Red Bull, The North Face and Adidas.
Each episode features a 30 minute discussion between an outdoor industry expert and your hosts, Trail Unknown. This is followed by an audience Q&A for 30 mins. Webinars are free with registration over Zoom, limited to 100 people.
