Crankbrothers introduces the Highline 11 - A no compromise dropper post
The Crankbrothers Highline is a dropper post that's tested rather well in previous off-road.cc reviews (see the review of the Highline 7 here). The brand has gone and one-upped itself with the launch of the new Highline 11, a dropper post that uses a lot of what we know and love about the existing models but adds premium materials to shed weight.

Crankbrothers has designed the new Highline 11 to be right at home on a range of bikes, be it gravel or anything up to enduro.
The dropper post keeps all of the good stuff that we've seen on the brand's existing droppers, including the hydraulic Internal Floating Piston that offers infinite adjustability and the Quick-Connect linear actuator. The igus LL-glide bearings and Trelleborg seal remain on this high-end post and a Jagwire cable and housing are still found in the box.
However, differences come within the now carbon fibre two-bolt quick release head with a low 47mm stack height. Oh, and those two bolts are titanium on this model. All of these changes lead to a 100-gram weight saving over the Highline 7, says Crankbrothers.
Crankbrothers' Highline 11 is available with 60mm up to 170mm of travel and 30.9 or 31.6mm diameters to fit gravel, cross country, trail, and enduro bikes. As for weights, its lightest guise featuring 100mm of drop and a 30.9 diameter is said to weigh 398g. At its heaviest, with 170mm of travel and in the 31.6 diameter, Crankbrothers claims that it weighs 509g.
