e*thirteen launches the new Plus 35 stem
e*thirteen has noticed that mountain biking is forever changing and that the needs of the average rider have evolved. With that, the brand has introduced the brand new Plus 35 stem, a stem that's designed to be lighter, more secure, and super strong.

e*thirteen says that a stem needs to be light, strong and capable of delivering quality clamping. To achieve that, the brand has built the Plus 35 stem using AL-7050-T7 alloy, claiming that the material has reduced the weight of the stem and has designed the stem so that clamps won't loosen under hard riding forces.
Setting the Plus 35 stem apart from the crowd is the 132° recessed opposing steerer clamp bolts which have been placed to boost knee clearance while maintaining alignment while tightening those bolts. It's also made with zero-gap faceplates for easy installation.
The Plus 35 stem comes in 40mm and 50mm lengths with claimed weights of 145g and 163g respectively. It then offers zero rise and a 35mm bar clamp, as its name suggests, along with a 1-1/8" steerer clamp. There's then T25 hardware and a 40mm clamp stack.
As for colours, it comes in four colourways to compliment e*thirteen's existing range, those being two-tone, Intergalactic, Bronze, Eggplant, Black and Naranja faceplates mated to black bodies.
e*thirteen's Plus 35 stem is set to cost $99.95, or around £80.
