We've got a bikepacking theme running this week, with kit from Ortlieb, Salsa, Topeak, Knog and Teravail. Most of the kit isn't confined to just be adventures though, it's stuff we'll be putting through its pace both on mountain bikes and gravel bikes. Enjoy....

Ortlieb Atrack BP
Distributors of Ortlieb Atrack BP pack are dubbing this as a great bikepacking and adventure bag. Built like a duffle bag the 25L interior is accessed through a long, chunky zip that sits at the rear of the back next to but not against your spine. There are plenty of features, including external compression straps, an adjustable back panel to accommodate different heights and four inside zipped pockets, plus its fully waterproof. Ortlieb also offers plenty of additional items to help the pack perform best for you from ways to secure your helmet to a special hydration system built to fit the bag.
There are other versions of the bag available, the ST is designed for women, the regular Atrack is a little heavier than the version we have here due to a wider hip belt with pockets.

Salsa Anything Cradle
Made to carry pretty much anything, the Salsa Anything Cradle is well named, there are no rules to whatever you want to load it up with. Made of impact-resistant nylon, the Anything Cradle is designed to fit in front of the bars, holding gear away from the bike to prevent cables being squashed and to allow the rider to hold on too. It works just as well on either drop or flat bars they say and can carry up to 3.7kg of gear.
Knog PWR Trail front light
This light from Knog is a torch, bike light and power bank all in one. This one knocks out 100 lumens and can run for up to 300 hours if used in a flashing mode. It can be mounted on the bars or a helmet and has the option to program your brightness and runtime through an app.

Topeak Airbooster G2
This is the CO2 inflator to own if you care about tyre pressures after a puncture. Rather than just 'inflate and get home' now you can ensure you ride quality replicates that of the rider pre-puncture. Being tyre geeks, here at off-road towers, we rather like this but it looks like this one might be better on for those running higher pressures....

Teravail Rutland tyres
The new Rutland tyre from Teravail is made for gravel and mixed terrain. With directional knobs centre knobs and well-spaced, chunkier side knobs, the Rutland is designed to tackle equally chunky conditions that might prove too much for the average gravel tyre. They are available in sizes from 770x38c to 700 x 42c and in 650 x 47c in both tan and black coloured side walls and in a light and a tougher casing.
