Cervélo Áspero
With a tag line of "Haul Ass Not Cargo" we immediately wanted the Cervélo Áspero! If the advertising line doesn't give it away, this gravel race bikes form will, the carbon frame, aero design and lack of mounts put this in the race category of all-road and gravel bikes. Prices start at £2,699 for a SRAM Apex equipped bike, heading up to £5,399 for Force eTap AXS Disc model, its the latter we have in for test, whilst we wait for a review, here's a full first look at the bike.

DJI Osmo Action camera
DJI says their dual screens and RockSteady stabilisation tech will help you 'capture it all' on your next wild ride, with 4k video quality and 8x slow motion. It's also waterproof to 11m if you want to stop for an impromptu wild swim, and DJI also says their HDR video quality delivers natural transitions between light and dark areas to capture rich details even in complex lighting. How did it perform on road.cc's test video assignment? Dave Atkinson will be reporting in his full review, coming later this month...

Spank Flare Vibrocore TwentyFive Dropbar
Using tech from their mountain bike range, Spank now produces drop bars containing the patented foam core which reduces transmission of harmful vibration to the rider. The Spank Flare 25 Vibrocore has a 25° flare and comes in 420, 440 or 460mm widths, a 110mm drop and 65mm reach. These have a 31.8mm bar clamp which extends through the top section providing enhanced hand support and comfort without multiple wraps of tape to increase the diameter. Spank says that the round profile upper section facilitates a wide range of rider hand positions and maximizes grip on the bars in rough terrain. Claimed weights for the Flare 25 are 345, 350 or 355g respective of size as above. Our Jon likes the regular Spank Spike Vibrocore 35 mountain bike bars, so what will our tester think of these?
Nikwax Basefresh 1L
Ok, potentially not the most exciting thing we have ever featured in '5 cool things' but this product could be pretty useful if it helps prolong the life of your favourite or lucky jersey! It's a deodorising conditioner for technical clothing, simply use alongside your normal detergent in order to inhibit the build-up of odours and to improve moisture management fo those layers worn close to the skin.
Hornit Clug Plus Bike Rack
The bike rack for big bikes from the world's family of small bike racks..... Accepting tyres from 2.75" to 3.2" the Clug Plus is for plus tyred mountain bikes of both 29er and 27.5" wheelsizes. It works with the floor and the front wheel inserted into the mount, to support the bike and keep it in an upright position against the wall of your house or shed.
