5 cool things from Triban, Pro, Rapha, Specialized and Wave
There are more shoes in this week, this time a reasonably priced offering from Decathlon and some pricier SPD shoes from Specialized. There is also a genuinely cool tool from PRO Bike Kit, some funky shaped carbon gravel bars from Wave and a waterproof seat pack from Rapha.

Triban 520 SPD Cycling and Bike Touring Lace-up shoe
Listed on the Decathlon website as road cycling shoes, these are actually designed for mountain bike SPD's. With two bolt cleats, laces and a top buckle these shoes won't look out of place on a trail bike, a gravel bike or your commuter and at £70, they could be a bit of a steal!

Specialized Comp Mountain Bike shoes
We've liked the previous Specialized shoes we have tested so have high hopes for these more XC orientated SPD shoes. The Comp MTB shoes are a pretty penny at £150, coming with a Boa dial, velcro fastening and of course using Specialized Body Geometry concepts in their design.

Rapha Waterproof Rear Seat Pack
Another seat pack on test, this time with added hispter brand kudos from Rapha. The 15L pack looks robust with a rigid harness and separate dry bag. Rapha says its fully waterproof and we've noticed it also has some covered holes that are designed to let a small amount of air out when you roll the dry bag down, helping to compress it, making the bag as small and compact as possible with no excess air inside.

Pro Internal Routing Tool
This is actually pretty cool, not to say our other cool things aren't that cool but this is a neat little tool. Designed to help route cables internally, you simply choose your end piece, attach to the provided cable, insert into the frame and use the magnet to draw the cable through the frame. You then attach your hose/Di2 cable/outer to the cable that is in the frame and draw the whole thing through - voila!
Wave carbon handlebar
The Wave bar is an odd looking bar, shaped quite differently to other carbon bars. The designers say this bar is uniquley shaped to offer "riders enhanced power from any position on the bar, even late in the day on a multi-hour epic". They say it "brings a new performance factor to road and gravel riders who want the speed of the drops, and the long-ride comfort of the bar tops". We'll be sending this out to our gravel and road tester Stu to see how he gets on.
