Mental health and mountain biking often go hand-in-hand and it's TotalMTB's mission to get people out on bikes to help with both mental and physical health. TotalMTB has joined forces with Marmot Animations to create a charming Lego animation to highlight the joys of mountain biking and the positive effects it can have upon your mental health

In the hunt for fresh and engaging content, TotalMTB gave Marmot Animations a fairly open brief, starting with someone being weighed down by stress at work, then going off on their bike with their mates and de-stressing. Something all cyclists know all too well.

The aim behind the clever stop-motion video is to highlight the mental benefits of riding a bike and how riding can take you away from the day-to-day issues of normal life.

Along with Marmot Animations' Lego-based video, TotalMTB has called for help from some big names of the mountain bike world to spread awareness for mental health. This video shows that these people (who some may look up to) know that mental health matters and that it's ok to speak up if you're suffering.

Accompanying the release of these two videos TotalMTB will be launching a raffle from this Friday (1st October) with all proceeds going to help the charity raise awareness for mental health and towards helping the environment. More info on the raffle will be available very soon.
