Parcours and Classified partner up to combine aerodynamic wheels with Powershift technology
British wheel maker Parcours and Belgian tech company Classified have announced a partnership, which will allow consumers to buy Parcours road and gravel wheels with Classified Powershift technology.

- The best trail and enduro mountain bike wheelsets, tried and tested

Parcours, which was founded in 2016, is known for its aerodynamic wheels that feature differential front and rear rim profiles, allowing them to be more aerodynamically optimised for a wider (28mm) tyre, while also gaining crosswind stability. This technology was first introduced in the brand’s Strade wheelset and has since been implemented in many other wheelsets within the range.
Classified has been a pioneer in cycling tech, by developing and commercialising innovative drivetrain products. The Classified Powershift technology effectively removes the need for a front derailleur and offers electronic shifting, instantaneously, under full load and with an uncompromised gear ratio.
Both of the brands are saying that the Classified-Parcours-wheels that were first showcased at the Velofillies show in Belgium last week are just the start of this partnership and that there is much more to come.
“We’re very excited to be working with Classified on some big projects in 2023 and beyond. They have brought a refreshing and innovative approach to drivetrain design, mirroring our own approach to wheelset development. It was an easy decision to partner with the Classified team and we can’t wait to bring their shift technology to riders across all the categories we cover,” Dov Tate, founder of Parcours said.
