Mondraker adds SuperFoxy to the Foxy 29 carbon range for 2020
Back in May 2019 Mondraker launched the new Foxy 29 Carbon, now there is a super enduro bike on the scene with the SuperFoxy revealed as part of the 2020 lineup. With longer travel, new redesigned Zero Suspension kinematics, a carbon link and room for a 170mm fork the SuperFoxy is ready to race, and race hard.

The Mondraker SuperFoxy keeps loads of the same features as the regular 29er carbon Foxy's, there's the Forward Geometry and the brands multi-link Zero suspension system but this bike features 160mm of rear travel to be paired with a 170mm fork with a 44mm offset.
Mondraker says the Super Foxy keeps the same pedalling efficiency traits as the Foxy Carbon but has a newly designed Zero Suspension kinematics for a more supple beginning stroke off the top and a more progressive leverage ratio ideal for coil and big volume air shocks. Within the rear linkage, there is also now a one piece carbon upper link which
The SuperFoxy frameset sports a newly designed beefed up SuperBoost 157 x 12 mm rear triangle, a reinforced rear triangle aimed at making the rear of the bike stiffer and there is an option to change the chainstay length between 440 or 450 mm. Mondraker says the frame has also been designed to work specifically with 1x12 drivetrains.
Elsewhere the new bike gets a 65 degree head angle that is adjustable by +/-1°, oversized pivot thru-axles (15mm) and enduro max bearings and a new silent chainstay custom made rubber protector. There isn't a geometry chart available just yet but expect the numbers to be pretty similar to the current Foxy Carbon 29 with some adjustments allowing for the longer travel, slacker head angle for example.
Following in the footsteps of the likes of Specialized, Mondraker says they have designed an exclusive chainstay protector made of a special soft compound rubber which helps stop the chain slapping on the chainstay and help keep the ride as quiet as possible.
