Vielo V+1Rival
We made a beeline for this bike at the NEC cycle show late last year, this V+1, a bike for rough British roads and gravel tracks, it's got big tyre capability at a more wallet-friendly price, here's a first look on the smart looking bike that's slightly cheaper and slightly heavier than the V+1 that road.cc reviewed early last year.
Tifosi Brixen glasses
We've been on the hunt for good quality glasses that don't cost the earth, especially at this time of year when the muck is flying. We will be testing these Brixen glasses with three interchangeable lenses from Tifosi that cost £70. We've also got a pair of Podium XC glasses from the same brand, these have a polarized lens that changes according to the light conditions for £90.

Bell 4Fourty helmet
Sticking with reasonably priced gear, we have two helmets from Bell to test, the 4Forty and the Spark. Both are available with MIPS for a bit more cash but we've got the non-MIPS versions here. The 4Forty is £70 and the one-size-fits-all Spark is £50. We reckon they both look pretty good...

Proper Cleaner Degreaser by Guy Martin
We tested the Proper Cleaner 'General Cleaner' last year and we came to the conclusion that is was a pretty good cleaner with some great eco-friendly credentials. The company have just released 'Proper Degreaser', produced using the same planet friendly capsules and shipping 'water free'. The starter pack pictured here is £10 and will make up 1.5L of degreaser.
Canyon Grail AL 7.0
The new Canyon Grail caused a big splash on release, equipped with its futuristic hover bar (officially, the Grail Cockpit), it turned heads and got the keyboard warriors madly thrashing their keys. Once only sold in carbon, the Grail is now available in alloy form as the Grail AL and we've got one in for test, we took first look at the new gravel bike here too.
