We've got a fresh batch of cool things to show off from Leatt's recently announced collection, as well as a flash stem from DMR, Hunt's Proven Enduro wheelset, and a helmet from Endura. There's also a set of mudguards, primed for the wintery conditions ahead. We'll also bring you our highlights of the best new stories of the week.

We've had a big week for reviews, kicking off with Ty's write up of the Ragley Mmmbop 1.0. It's an aggressive hardtail with the numbers to match, offering a fun but capable ride. It's not without its niggles though, so that review is well worth a gander. We've also reviewed the Parlee Sky Ride Carbon Gravel Wheelset and the Hutchinson Overide Bi-Compound Hardskin 38mm gravel tyre.
Dylan Stark (YT Industries) has released a new video: Homegrown where the rider shows off his favourite spots aboard almost the full range of YT bikes.
Christmas is on the doorstep, trees are going up and presents are being bought, so we thought that this was the perfect time to bring you our selection of the best cheap mountain bikes. Hopefully, this will take some of the pain out of buying a present for your favourite cyclist as we list the best bikes you can buy from £600 up to £1,500. And, in case you didn't know, we have freeride mountain biking - everything you need to know to shed light on all things freeride.
DMR Defy35+ Special Edition stem
£85
This camouflaged little number is the special-edition Defy 35+ stem from DMR. Making it special is that triple anodized Liquid Camo finish. DMR says that the Defy 35+ is the perfect Trail/All Mountain stem but its stack height is seriously low stack with a top close clamp design. This stem is 34mm in length and it offers a 5mm rise and, as its name suggests, there's a 35mm clamp diameter. Unfortunately, this colourway isn't available with a 31.8mm clamp.
Musguard OMNI Wide mudguards
£48
The Musgaurd OMNI Wide is a pair of mudguards built for those who are constantly installing and removing their mudguards. It's claimed that they'll fit any wide-tyred bike but the real show stopper is that they roll down into a package you can throw into a bag, or wrap around your bike when not in use.
These are built to accommodate tyre sizes from 45 - 72mm and there are two angle options to offer the best fit. They strap onto your bike thanks to silicone-coated two-in-one fasteners and they require absolutely no tools. They're made of recycled polypropylene, too, so you'll be doing your bit for the environment when buying a pair.
Hunt Proven Carbon Race Enduro MTB wheelset
£900
This wheelset comes as part of Hunt's recently announced Proven range. The Proven Enduro wheelset is designed to cope with the demands of EWS stages across the world and each wheel is tuned, with the front designed to offer comfort and precision, while the rear is built to be bombproof. That's thanks to specific carbon layups, and different spoke counts.
These wheels have gone through a rigorous impact test, which shows an impact strength of 12J greater than previous Hunt carbon models. The Proven Enduro wheels are also covered by Hunt's H-CARE service, offering free lifetime crash replacement.
Leatt HydraDri 3.0 Mono Suit
£280
Leatt recently launched its 2023 range, introducing a range of updates and some brand-new kit. The HydraDri 3.0 Mono Suit is one of the new products, and one I'm unashamedly excited about.
This MTB onesie is designed to offer huge protection from the elements with a 10,000/10,000 waterproof and breathable membrane. Adding to the suit's breathability is Leatt's ClimbVent system and there's the brand's Ride Adaptive Hood which can be worn in four different configurations. It also gets the magnetic hood that we've seen on previous Leatt jackets that keeps the hood fixed on the back, or on your helmet.
Endura Hummvee Plus Mips
£85
Endura touts the Hummvee Plus as a mega versatile helmet that's as happy out on the trails as it is getting you to work. It comes sorted with Mips for added protection and it's been designed with airflow in mind, so all vents are large and the front vents are covered with a bug mesh. The visor is removable and there's a one-handed micro-adjustable fit system.
