Merida One-Forty 6000 review

On paper Merida’s brand-new One-Forty platform looks rather mental but, in reality, it’s a very different animal than its geo chart suggests. It offers a unique-but-welcoming and practical ride that balances predictability with all-out fun. Its build kit has been wisely picked considering its asking price, too; making it one of the best trail mountain bikes you can buy.

The Lezyne Pocket Torque Drive is a pocket-sized torque wrench ideal for small maintenance tasks on the move. While miniature, it packs quite the punch, although . it is a bit of a faff to assemble and a bit more leverage would further improve the design. Overall, the adjustable torque range is more than enough for all but the biggest of jobs, making this a candidate for the best torque wrench title.

Video: Homegrown - Dylan Stark shreds his favourite spots

In his latest video, YT Industries' own Dylan Stark takes us around some of his favourite Southern California riding spots. It's hugely reminiscent of old-school BMX videos, but in this one, Stark employs almost the whole of YT's mountain bike range, including the Decoy e-MTB.

Sendhit Nock MTB Hand Guards V2 review

Last year we tested the original Sendhit Nock hand guards, praising them for their mountain bike-specific details but found that they could benefit from improvement.

Specialized Men’s Trail Long Sleeve Jersey review

With the Men’s Trail Long Sleeve Jersey, Specialized has broken the technical jersey norm creating a soft fabric devoid of any bold branding. It’s comfortable, manages humidity rather well and looks. But is it a worthy consideration among the best men’s mountain bike jerseys?
