Magicshine Monteer 8000S Galaxy V2 front light review

Magicshine's Monteer 8000S V2 takes the excellent battery life and huge output of the original light but adds a remote control. While a simple addition, this ups the ease of use and, importantly, increases the overall adjustability of the light making it one of the best mountain bike light options right now. It doesn’t penetrate quite as well as the very best lights on the market however and the remote isn’t without its faults.

ABUS Airdrop MIPS full face helmet review

The Airdrop joins the Cliffhanger as one of ABUS's most recent off-road releases. It comes with everything expected of a full-face helmet with a few other very neat features.

Scott MTB Shr-alp Lace shoe review

Competitively priced with usable grip and excellent airflow, Scott’s MTB Shr-alp Lace flat pedal shoe is ideal for those who love hike-a-bike jaunts or simply have wider feet. However, while good, its on-bike performance doesn’t quite stack up to others on the market.

Wolf Tooth’s new Resolve dropper post brings some interesting innovation to the dropper post game. Its world-first self-bleeding cartridge along with its lowest-on-the-market stack height will appeal to even the pickiest of dropper post connoisseurs, making it a seriously attractive addition to the best dropper posts segment.

Hunt Trail Wide V2 wheelset review

Hunt has built a solid reputation in the best mountain bike wheels space, with prices that won’t break the bank - and the brand’s Trail Wide wheelset only bolsters the prestige. The Trail Wide V2 wheelset is robust while forgiving through the roughest of tracks and it offers freehub performance of wheels way above its price point, proving to be one of the best value wheelsets available.

Haibike AllMtn 2 e-MTB review

While its looks will surely divide opinion, the Haibike AllMtn 2 makes for a great first step into the world of e-MTB, thanks to a properly sorted and contemporary geometry. While its powerful Yamaha motor is a stand-out feature, its weight noticeably affects the handling and there are some question marks around certain spec choices.

Leatt MTB HydraDri 3.0 Mono Suit review

If riding in even the wettest weather is your thing, Leatt’s Hydradri 3.0 Mono Suit is the perfect companion. The mix of its effective waterproof fabric and range of weather-resistant features make it a top contender for some of the best waterproof kit on the market, but be sure to check the size chart before you buy.

Leatt 7.0 HydraDri flat pedal shoe review

Waterproof shoes for flat pedals aren’t especially common so it’s refreshing to see a brand step up to the plate. Leatt has done a cracking job with the 4.0 HydraDri Flat Pedal shoe, blending a grippy outsole with an effective waterproof membrane - although the zip can just become a bit of a struggle when muddy.
