In 2016, 7mesh rider Innes Graham crashed as he was training for his turn at the World Cup Downhill, resulting in a broken femur. This injury caused Innes to step away from mountain biking and the rigours of professional racing.

After the tragedy, 7mesh says that Innes found solace on a BMX which quickly led to him jumping back into the mountain bike scene but in a widely different capacity than before.
In this video, Innes talks about his passion for mountain biking as well as the mental struggles he's endured. Now a coach for the Dirt School in Scotland, a 7mesh ambassador and a UCI EDR competitor it's clear that mountain biking hasn't fully taken a back seat in his life, stating that when things get too much, swinging a leg over a bike again is what gets him stoked on bikes again.
