Team ORCC | EP.09 - Raiders Gravel, CX points and Southern Enduro
September has been a rather special month for Team ORCC because our newest team member, Suvi takes us through her first gravel event for the team. That's not all as Liam C shows us how he got on at his most recent cyclocross event as he tries to collect points to compete in higher level events and Liam M wraps up the Southern Enduro Series. Here's how the team got on.

Suvi
After Suvi's introduction in last month's episode, she's been quick to get the riding in as she's taken on the Raiders Gravel event that took place in the Galloway Forest Park in Scotland. The event consisted of three days of off-road riding and Suvi managed to bring home a respectable fourth place. Good going!
Liam C
Liam headed over to Frome to take part in the Western Cyclocross League round. This event was all about scoring points so Liam could compete in higher level races later in the year. He wrangled a first place early in the event which unfortunately converted into a sixth as the event transpired which still meant that he scored some points to go towards some national rounds.

This episode marks the final race of the Southern Enduro Series. I was looking forward to this one because I enjoyed it so much when I raced it at the beginning of the year, and because it posed the perfect opportunity to see how my riding had progressed throughout the season. Even as the last race in the series, it was filled with firsts, being the first time I was confidently jumping and repeating stages during practice. I had fun, I raced hard and brought home 22nd.
