Gloworm announces the brand new G2.0 range
Brand new from Gloworm is an all-new range of lightsets. Building upon an already well-received platform the new range gets bluetooth remotes, fast charging batteries with O-LED displays with mobile phone connectivity.

Launched within the new range are five new models. There's the 2000 Lumen X2 and X2 Adventure, the XS and XS adventure which get a beefier 2800 lumens and then topping the range with its 3600 lumens is the XSV. All of which get a host of neat new features to make life with these lights that bit nicer.
First off, the optics in each light has been refined further but the most obvious upgrade lies within the new Bluetooth control unit, says the brand.
The handlebar mounted Bluetooth control unit sits sleekly on your bar and it's completely wireless. It gets oversized buttons that are hopefully hard to miss and it can even control multiple Gloworm lights at once. As you might have guessed, you'll be able to scroll through the light's modes with it.
With this new control unit, Gloworm has boosted the light's Bluetooth connectivity with a new mobile app that makes each light more programmable than ever. Not only can you adjust and preprogram the light's settings but you can check the available run time and overall battery health.
That's not all that's new, the G2.0 range comes with an all new battery and cable system to boot. It uses a USB-C which boosts reliability, says Gloworm, by incorporating the brand's latest EasyRelease connections which are designed to prevent damage to the cable, socket or rider by pulling free during an impact. The new cables are rated to IP67 which means that they should be super waterproof.
The battery itself then gets an O-LED display which will give you your battery power readouts as well as an estimated runtime.
A very neat touch that you'll find on the X2 Adventure is that it features super fast charging when used with a fast charger. If you've just organised a last minute night ride with your mates, the X2 Adventure is claimed to charge in 90 minutes, offering up to two hours of riding.
Prices for the new range start off at £234 for the X2 lightset and go up to £339 for the XSV lightset.
