Starting at the event village in the English Heritage site of Old Sarum, Stone Circle is a weekend festival of gravel cycling. The Festival Fort has food, a DJ and camping on site and it acts as the start and finish line for the three route options.
Whereas the inaugural event included two route options – 130km and 217km – 2024 will bring slightly different route options. The Monumental 220km route includes 2,900m of climbing, the Historic 155km (2,000m) and the new shorter route addition, the 55km 'Festival' route with 640m of elevation.
The event is fully supported and includes four feed stops where riders can restock for the rest of the ride. In terms of terrain, you can expect everything from US-style gravel tracks and small overgrown paths to paved Tarmac sections, too.
Prices start from £55 and there are camping packages available, as well. Registrations are open now.
