For 2021 Canyon has updated its burly, long-travel Torque. It sees in new kit from RockShox and Fox's new offerings and two models get new dropper posts, along with wide-range gearing from Shimano and SRAM.
For 2021 Canyon has dropped the Fox 36 or RockShox Lyrik. Instead, a RockShox ZEB or Fox 38 will handle the 180mm of travel at the front and provide some extra stiffness.
Other component updates include a OneUp V2 dropper post on the CF8 and CF9 models.
The new Torque also benefits from the new wide-range drivetrains offered by both SRAM and Shimano with the former allowing a 10-52t cassette and the latter a 10-51t unit.
After the high level of praise received from the Torques last iteration, the new model doesn't see any geometry changes. It keeps its 65° head angle, 74° seat tube angle and short 428mm chainstays. On a large frame, the bike gets a 460mm reach.
Prices for the 2021 Torque start at £2,500 and they top out at £4,900 and it comes in five sizes, XS up to XL.
