The new green trail will run from the very top of the hill and can be accessed by the uplift and will open the park up to more riders of all different ages and abilities. Bike Park Wales says on their website that "riders can expect a flowing singletrack descent that gives a genuine mountain bike trail experience and is an easier version of our blue flow trails with lower speeds and less gradient. A smooth and undulating descent takes riders through a mixture of open and wooded terrain with great views and features along the way.”
As well as the new trail the new visitor's centre will provide more space for welcoming visitors and for bike hire too, the park says the improvements will make checking in more streamlined and quicker too. There will be more toilets, showers and parking too. Plus there will be larger eating and rest area's both indoors and out!
It looks like the team won't be stopping there either! It appears that this is just the first phase of work with the co-founders hinting at more developments to come later in 2020 in a large 18-25 month plan. Exactly what those plans are, is anybody's guess at the moment, we'll update you as soon as we hear anything!
