The new Specialized Stumpjumper EVO has just been launched get a sleek makeover whilst keeping the burly nature of EVO bikes. Today Nukeproof launches their new 2021 Reactor trail bike range. A whole host of mountain bikes to suit all pockets and those with either 27.5" or 29er wheel size preferences. The carbon and alloy bikes get spec updates, plus the shorter travel ST model joins the range full time.

The Bliss Protection ARG Vertical Extended Kneepads are as long as the name, providing ample protection for the pins. These mid-range pads have a sleeve design which is generally very comfortable, although they can wrinkle at the top and the pad isn't as well moulded as the competition.

Is this the best value carbon, full suspension trail bike you can buy? The 2021 Vitus Escarpe range has just been launched and it's had a huge overhaul. There's a new suspension layout, progressive geometry and all the bikes get a carbon front triangle, including this CR 29 version for £2,000.
7iDP M2 helmet review
At £60, the 7iDP M2 helmet faces a tough challenge in the budget helmet category. It's relatively light for a trail helmet and gets a good Boa dial, plus the rich padding keeps it comfy. Thick straps let the side down though, and some rivals offer greater coverage and protection.
