- Long
- Inner velcro straps hold a lot of things
- Wide and stable
- The name is ridiculous...
The Effetto Mariposa Espresso Strap Lungo is a bit of a mouthful to say, but in use it's a neat, wide and secure strap that happily secures a tube, CO2 canister and tyre levers to your mountain or gravel frame. At £14 its bang on the money, too.

Built to attach their equally impressively named 'Espresso Doppio inflate and repair cartridge' to your bike, the Espresso Strap Lungo is a sturdy piece with an internal Velco strap that secures your stuff in place. A second one attaches the whole lot to your frame.
Both straps are a usefully long 45cm, meaning you can fit quite a lot to your tube or use it on larger downtubes too.
I typically rolled a multitool and two tyre levers up in a tube, and found it wedged neatly up on my top tube.
The wide outer strap means it doesn't wobble on the frame, whilst there are no loose ends or overlaps with the Velcro that might be prone to coming undone. Inside, rubber padding stops your cargo from slipping around.
And, well... there's not too much else to say! That's a good thing, as this is a simple idea done well, and it works. In black it's unobtrusive, and it's seen months of use without looking anything other than dirty. The inner velcro works well and it won't stretch or perish the way other designs could. It fits most bikes, and at £14 it's fairly priced too.
