Reviewing our most read content of the year serves two very good purposes. The first is that we get to see just what content you, our readers, really like and secondly we get to re-read and remember some good reviews and content from 2019. It's a real mixed bag, let's dive in recounting our 10 'top reads in 2019' with the content getting the most clicks coming in at number 1.

They are all under a grand and packing a punch, perfect for either dipping a first toe in the mountain bike pool or for buying an affordable hardtail for winter razzing.

Another buyer's guide takes top spot number seven too, with advice on gravel bikes under 2k seemingly very popular. This budget is spot on for a decent spec bike that will be versatile and robust too. Again, these bikes have all been tested by us so you can be safe in the knowledge that we have ridden and got a really good feel for the bike before reviewing it and adding it to this guide if it scored four stars or more.

Number six sees us move away from buyers guide and delve into the world of bike cleaning and cleaning products. We know there are an awful lot of different opinions on the best way to clean your disc brakes, so we reached out to a number of industry experts for their thoughts.
5. Best hardtail and full-suspension mountain bikes under £1,500
Back to buyer's guides and this one on mountain bikes under £1,500 sits at number five. If you are looking to spend a grand and a half on a brand spanking new mountain bike, we check out just what you get for your money. As a rule of thumb, in the £1,500 and under category we reckon you might better off buy a better-specced hardtail rather than a cheaper full suspension bike but, of course, there are some notable exceptions to the rule and we list them here.
4. Canyon Grail AL 7.0 review
Finally a bike review! In at number four is the popular Canyon Grail AL 7.0, the alloy model without that strange-looking hover bar. Our Dave gave it 4.5 stars in his review for being a fun, agile adventure bike that is good value too.

Another price critical buyer's guide makes it to the runner up spot at number two, this time its gravel bikes under £1,000. In here there are the likes of the Marin Four Corners, the Specialized Diverge and the Sonder Camino, all top-rated and looking to be great value too!

It's the place to turn to find out the differences between a Revelation and a Pike and a wealth of information can be found on Debonair and Charger dampers. We've produced and continually updated a concise guide to the current and entire Rockshox fork range and it appears it has been very useful to a lot of you out there this year!
