Fabric's Accubar is a quality bit of kit that's perfect for getting your mountain bike tyre pressures set up accurately, with an easy to read analogue gauge and long valve that makes hooking it up easy, whether using it with a pump or on its own.
An accurate pressure gauge is a hugely useful bit of kit for any mountain biker, but it's even more important with the current crop of extra fat tyres as getting the sweet spot of grip without excessive roll can be a matter of a single psi - or even fractions of that.
Fabric's Accubar gauge is a simple and well thought out bit of kit that has a 0-40psi (0-3bar) range with nice tight 0.5psi intervals on the gauge itself. That means it's perfect for setting up your mountain bike tyres without having to squint at a big (and usually massively inaccurately) pressure gauge on a track pump, though if you're looking for something to accurately set higher pressure for gravel or road riding then you're out of luck.
The gauge has a neat twist head that quickly converts to Presta or car style Schrader valves and the long extension means you can easily see what the gauge is reading without having to contort yourself. The gauge can also be used with a track pump, though the fact the through valve uses a Schrader is a bit of a faff if your track or hand pump is usually set up to do the more common Presta valve heads and doesn't automatically adjust.
There's a small bleed valve on the side to adjust pressure when attached and it's a pleasant thing to use as well as being nicely made. The only real downside is that, while no heavier than digital type gauges, that long hose does make it more of a faff to stuff in a pocket or pack.
Most similarly priced digital gauges also now read to a similar level of accuracy and will also cope with higher pressures, but if you like to keep it analogue then this is a great bit of kit and well worth having in your pack or toolbox.
