Trek Wahoo 24, the new children's mountain bike that promises adult features
The Trek Wahoo will set you back £700 ($700 USD/$900 CAD). It's got 24-inch wheels, a carbon fork and is built to the same standards as the brand's adult mountain bikes.

The Wahoo 24 trail is ideal for children between 130-150cm in height. With its aluminium frame and carbon fork, it has a 67-degree head angle and a 73-degree seat tube angle. something Trek says offers precision and control. The bike weighs 10.70 kg/23.59 lbs.
In terms of spec, it has children's specific Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors, a 1 x 9 microSHIFT drivetrain with kid-friendly trigger shifters and 2.2in Kenda Amrak tyres. The brand says the Wahoo 24 is trail-ready and comes with a Trek mudguard to keep the elements at bay.
Available in two colours, the Wahoo 24 Trail has been finished with children's specific components, such as the kids' saddle and grip. It also offers dropper post compatibility, should you wish to add one to the bike.
