Both aged 20, Ethan Craik and Gonçalo Bandeira have already showcased their prowess in downhill racing. Craik's track record includes a second-place finish at the 2023 MTB World Cup and consistent top 10 performances throughout the season. Bandeira, a seven-time Portuguese National Champion, has also demonstrated his talent with strong results in 2023 and multiple top 20 finishes.
"I couldn't be happier joining Scott DH Factory. I've had a very warm welcome, and I'm stoked to be representing such an iconic brand with such a cool history. All the people in the factory and the team fill me with confidence that we can reach that top step together. I love the Gambler, and I look forward to racing it," Ethan Craik stated.
In preparation for the upcoming season, the Scott DH Factory will kick off the year with a training camp focusing on bike setup and training.
The riders will be seen on the race-ready Scott Gambler frames, cushioned with Fox 40 Fork and Fox DHX2 / Float X2 shock. The RaceFace Atlas wheelsets are wrapped in Maxxis Assegai and DHR2 tyres, and the bikes rock a Shimano Saint drivetrain, Shimano XTR or Saint brakes with 203mm Friza rotors. The finishing kit, including saddles, handlebars and stems, is all provided by Syncros.
