Pirelli launches Cinturato Gravel S - a gravel tyre for mud and wet conditions
Pirelli has added a new soft-terrain Cinturato Gravel S tyre to its gravel range. Targeted for those who ride on roads, gravel trails and challenging terrain, the sculpted tread pattern and reinforced casing on the new Cinturato Gravel S tyre claim to offer excellent grip and handling.

Like all the other tyres in the Cinturato range (RC, H, M), the Cinturato Gravel S is a tubeless-ready tyre and made with the SpeedGRIP compound.
Pirelli says its SpeedGRIP compound combines the typical characteristics of an offroad compound characterized by high mechanical resistance qualities with low rolling resistance, with high grip on wet and dry.
With the Cinturato Gravel S, Pirelli aims to offer the most complete gravel tyre range on the market: from leisure riding to racing, for all terrains and for all types of riders. The sculpted tread pattern on the S has borrowed from Pirelli’s MTB tyre Scorpion S, focusing on grip and safety on technical and rough trails, yet not forgetting good handling and grip on the road.
Like the Cinturato RC, the dedicated gravel race tyre launched earlier this summer, the Cinturato Gravel S has also got more reinforcement compared to the other Cinturato Gravel tyres in the range: its casing, this time in 60 TPI nylon, is protected by a "belt," called TechWALL Gravel, which goes from bead to bead.
The new tyres come in two widths, 40mm and 45mm in 700c diameter, and colour-wise are offered in black or Classic (tan sidewall). A 50mm wide 650b size is to be available in the coming months.
