Greg Minnaar set to leave Santa Cruz Syndicate
Questions about Greg Minnaar's future have been in the air throughout the 2023 season, with many guessing that this might be his final year, or that he might be on to something else altogether. Now, one thing has been confirmed: Minnaar won't be racing as part of the Santa Cruz Syndicate in 2024.

Minnaar joined the Santa Cruz Syndicate downhill team in 2008 and has since earned himself four World Championships, three UCI World Cup titles, and 22 race wins. Not only does he have all of this under his belt, but it's got him worldwide recognition as the greatest of all time.
However, for next year, he's decided to step away from Santa Cruz Syndicate in a shock move.
But this doesn't look like the end of Minnaar's career. Pinkbike has reported that Norco is looking very close to signing him for 2024. That move could bring a host of changes with it, as Minnaar will likely move from Fox suspension to RockShox. The next Norco downhill bike may also feature a high pivot which will be interesting, as Minnaar was instrumental in steering Santa Cruz away from the design in its latest V10 bike.
