Bristol Bikefest returns to Ashton Court for 2019
Bristol Bikefest is set to return to Ashton Court in June 2019 with a pair of new sponsors in the form of Fenwicks and Bristol Beer Factory plus a longer running time for the main race and a new e-bike race, though the organisers are still promising the same relaxed atmosphere and plenty of fun singletrack to race on.

Taking place on the 29th June 2019, the main race has now had it's running time extended to eight hours from the traditional six hours, with solo, pairs and team categories available, with the aim to complete as many laps as possible before the time is up. As usual, kids racing will kick off the event before being followed by a new e-bike race.
There will also be 'The Steve Worland Ride Singletrack Hard & Drink A Swig of Cider Per Lap Memorial Cup' event in memory of the cycling journalist who sadly died in 2014, with all profits from the event going to the Psoriasis Association Charity.
At 10km long, the course will take in a few variations from the usual Ashton Court route to keep things fresh, plus there's plenty of freshly rebuild sections to enjoy while on the bike and a fully stocked bar to enjoy once you're finished riding.
The entry for the 2019 event will be limited to 300 riders and entry will open at 9am on 1st March 2019. For more info, head to the website:
