Endura MT500 MIPS helmet
£170
Last week Endura announced big updates to its helmet range and curious to see what's been improved, we've nabbed the flagship MT500 helmet. This time around it gets a full Koroyd core and MIPS for rotational impact protection. Along with those, there's an adjustable peak, an eyewear dock, and a clip-on accessory mount that can accommodate action cameras and lights.
Rather handily, this helmet comes with the brand's Crash Replacement Scheme which will reduce the cost of replacing your helmet with the same or nearest model should the worst happen.
e*thirteen Vario Infinite Dropper Seatpost
219 euro (~£190)
e*thirteen has been hot on the new releases this week with one of them being the fresh Vario Infinite Dropper Post. This works using an alloy air spring cartridge that's covered by a lifetime warranty and is said to require 20% less force to compress. Its travel is adjustable without the need for tools too, using a very similar system to what we've seen on the PNW Loam dropper. This dropper post comes in four travel lengths ranging from 90mm up to 210mm each of which comes with 30mm of travel adjustment.
With the new dropper, there's also a fresh lever that uses a forged aluminium build and it pivots around a cartridge bearing.
Peaty's Holeshot CO2 Tyre Inflator
£30
Peaty's has expanded its range to now include tubeless tyre repair. In the office, we've got the Holeshot CO2 inflator that follows a straight-line design which is said to maximise airflow. To inflate a tyre, simply push down on the inflator while the closed base silicone freeze protector keeps your hands safe from any freeze burn, even without gloves, says the brand.
In the pack you get everything you need to inflate two tyres, so that's two 25g cartridges, the inflator itself and that silicone sleeve.
YT Industries JEFFSY Core 3
£4,200
We've wrangled YT Industries' Jeffsy Core 3, completing our reviews on the brand's leg-powered range. This is the trail bike in the range that gets 150mm of suspension at either end and a very trail-friendly geometry, featuring a 66° head angle, 77° seat tube angle and a 470mm reach on this large frame. Altura Chinook backpack
£75
After 25 years, Altura's classic Chinook backpack has made a return but it's now been modernised to create a solid bag for all-round riding. This bag is constructed 100% of Polyester with recycled content and it's finished with a water-resistant coating to keep your stored goodies dry. It's kitted with a helmet carrier and space for a hydration bladder, as well as bottle sleeves if you would like to keep extra hydrated.
