Whyte unveils the E-Lyte Evo
Lowering the centre of gravity on an e-MTB has been Whyte's biggest pursuit over the last few years with the e-160 and e-180 bikes receiving different motor arrangements to lower the battery in the downtube. With that, the brand claims that lowering the centre of gravity results in better handling.
Whyte has unveiled its latest e-mountain bike, the E-Lyte Evo. It takes everything that made the regular E-Lyte so excellent but graces it with the Bosch Performance Line CX motor. Not only does the motor give the bike full-fat e-MTB-level grunt but also puts more mass lower in the frame, resulting in the lowest CoG of any e-mountain bike.
We've already got a full review of the E-Lyte Evo RS ready for reading. But for more, here's the story - the Whyte E-Lyte Evo claims to have the lowest centre of gravity.
The Arid is Mondraker's first non-assisted gravel bike
Gravel is now fully integrated into Mondraker's identity as the mountain bike-orientated brand has added a second gravel bike to its range. This time, it doesn't pack motor assistance but draws inspiration from the Dusty e-gravel bike. And like the e-gravel bike, it's designed to balance stiffness with compliance for easy acceleration but plenty of comfort.

The DMR Deathgrip2 gets new rubber and features
Brendan Fairclough's signature grip, the Deathgrip, has been updated. In the lead-up to his film Deathgrip2, the new Deathgrip2 grips feature a handful of new bits and bobs, such as exposed bar ends for durability, slimmer locking collars and a range of rubber compounds.
They're available in thick and thin sizes, with or without flanges, and a bunch of colours.

The Calibre Bossnut gets a price drop
Only a month after its release, Calibre has given the Bossnut a price drop. Already easy on the wallet, the entry-level full susser was priced at a very reasonable £1,700, and now, it'll set you back just £999.
The bike is ready to rip with hydraulic brakes, a dropper seatpost and proper tyres in the form of a Maxxis Minion DHF up front and a Forkaster at the rear. The budget bike market was already getting exciting with the Boardman MTR and Voodoo Canzo bikes, but now it's really heating up.
Here's a closer look at the sale - The Calibre Bossnut becomes an absolute bargain at £999.

Introduced in 2019, SRAM's UDH or Universal Derailleur Hanger is now a regular fixture on nearly every mountain bike. It's also growing in popularity among the gravel and road scenes. It was created out of necessity and is one of the rare examples of a new standard becoming exactly that.
In this piece, Lance goes deep into the details, outlining the pros and cons, and why UDH matters.
