There's been lots going on in the cycling world this week, we've picked out the most interesting team transfers, the new bikes that matter, cyclocross race news that is pretty rad, plus loads more! Dig in....

The Halfords brand might not be synonymous for those looking for a mountain bike fit for today's trail centre's but the Carrera Titan X is looking to change that with a 1x drivetrain, a dropper post, SRAM SX Eagle to name a few of the many branded parts. We take a good look at the bike here before we get out and test it. 

It's the bag issue, we've got a number of new hydration packs in at HQ and ready for testing. With day packs from Osprey, EVOC and Camelbak in the mix, there are good additions to the ranges of bags we've already tested. 

Fans of the 2018 Marin Rift Zone we are eager to get aboard this 2020 aluminium version. The 29er mountain bike gets updated geometry, a little more travel at the rear, some trail ready spec changes and, of course, for this alloy version a cheaper price tag than its carbon brothers. 

Gravel Fondo Cymru will take place on September 13^th 2020 from the town of Llandovery in Carmarthenshire and riding within the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales. Event organisers say this will change ravel racing for good with the UK's first and only race held over a single loop.

Apidura has just launched its Innovation Lab Dropper Saddle Pack for bikes with dropper posts, long-travel suspension and limited rear tire clearance. Using the 'Dropper Post Adapter' from 76 Projects the 6L bag could be the answer to your mountain bike packing dreams.
