Specialized launches the new Recon gravel shoe range

Taking from the brands already successful Torch family of road cycling shoes Specialized has designed the new Recon range with some of the same tech but with the demands of offroaders in mind. There are three models in the Recon lineup from easy going trail shoes to hardcore XC boots that are ripe for gravel riding and racing.

Making the range a full head to toe affair, Leatt has just launched a new line of mountain bike shoes featuring both flat a clip-in models. Each of the four models has been tuned specifically for the demands of the riding style that each shoe requires.

First Look: Bianchi T-Tronik Performer 9.1 e-bike

Gracing the office is the Bianchi T-Tronik Performer 9.1. It's a high end e-bike designed for aggressive riding. Sorted with a Shimano Steps motor, carbon front end and alloy rear triangle it looks fit for some serious shredding.

Canyon Neuron:ON hero

Canyons' Neuron:ON e-mtb gets updated for 2020

After the introduction and success of Neuron:ON in 2019, Canyon has updated the e-bike with further refinements, most notably the intergrated battery. The new Neuron:ON is aimed at those who want to ride further and faster on a bike that's just as happy going uphill than it is going down.

Leatt DBX 5.0 All Mountain jacket review

The Leatt DBX 5.0 All Mountain is a well-built, highly protective winter jacket with excellent attention to detail. It breathes well, has very efficient vents and is cut just right for bike use. In fact, it’s packed with clever features that make it a seriously enjoyable jacket when it’s nasty, though the inner cuffs aren't quite right and it's pretty expensive.

Morvelo Stealth Men's StormShield Bib Tights review

Morvelo's Stealth Men's StormShield Bib Tights are warm, comfortable and fit really well for their given size. They're waterproof and windproof, and with fleece lining in tactical spots they give a good combination of heat and breathability. The pad is a little cumbersome, however, plus the back can get sweaty and the zip is not entirely secure.

Canyon Spectral:ON 2020 hero

Canyon updates the Spectral:ON e-bike for 2020

Following the success of the first iteration of the Spectral:ON electric bike launched back in 2018, Canyon has updated the e-MTB for 2020. The range of new mullet models hide the battery in the frame and as with the shorter travel Neuron:ON, they keep the Shimano E8000 motor.

SixSixOne DBO elbow pad review

The DBO Elbow Pads from SixSixOne offer a lot of protection in a fairly slim package. A removable D3O insert makes them easy to clean, and they fit securely. However they’re a bit restrictive and not particularly breathable, so they’re probably best left for uplift days.

Forestal Siryon 2020 Hero

Forestal launch their new e-bike - The Siryon

Forestal has launched the first bike in its lineup and it's a 29" wheeled, long travel enduro e-bike. It features an all new suspension design, a super lightweight proprietary drive system, and a fully integrated touch screen display. Forestal aims to bring unmatched agility and versatility to the e-bike world. If you like your bikes filled with cool tech, read on.

Altura Repel Bibtight review

The Altura Repel Bib tights are a no-frills, DWR-coated, mid-weight bib tight from the lower end of Altura's range. They’re impressively comfortable all over, and even more so in the saddle thanks to an effective Progel chamois pad. They'd be easy to recommend but for their single downside – the stitching is just too fragile, and they don't last.
