Muc-Off launches bike wash refill stations in stores nationwide
Muc-Off has rolled out a new bike wash refill program in their ambassador stores, fitting them out with a specially made station where you can refill used Nano Bike Cleaner bottles. Not only is this cheaper than buying a whole new bottle but it will save literal tonnes of plastic which is much more environmentally friendly.

This refill program comes as part of Muc-offs 'Project Green', the brands' big movement to reduce their use of plastic. Project Green has been put in place with the aim to eliminate over 30 tonnes of plastic by 2023. The program also helps your local bike shop by diversifying their revenue streams by facilitating repeat custom.
As of today, you'll find a Muc-Off refill station in 80 ambassador stores but the brand is aiming to have a station in over 250 stores in the UK. To do this Muc-Off is giving a station away for free to any shop that buys two 25 litres of Nano Bike Cleaner. The brand says that with those 250 stores kitted out, they'll be saving 54,000 plastic bottles from being produced (around 6 tonnes).
Muc-Off intends to roll this out internationally too, resulting in further plastic savings.
While saving the environment you'll be saving a bit of cash too. Refills will retail at £5.49 a litre, about 50% off a fully new bottle.
