Stan's is known for its range of tubeless tyre accessories and wheels having recently launched the Flow MK4 wheelset at Eurobike. While the wheels have a subtle aesthetic, it's on the inside where things get really interesting.
That's because they're built with Stan's brand new M-pulse magnetic pawl freehubs with 1.66-degree engagement. Thanks to the pawls with Neodymium magnets, it's said that the freehub provides a much stronger and more reliable engagement as the pawls are pulled into the hub's teeth, rather than pushed in with springs and there's virtually no resistance when coasting. Of course, there are also no springs to break. Stan's says that each detail of the M-pulse hub was engineered to eliminate any weaknesses found in other designs.
On the subject of hubs, these wheels come with top-quality double-row Enduro bearings.
The 6069 alloy, low profile rims get a 30mm internal width that has been chosen especially to optimise the tyre shape for traction and control. This wheelset will happily seat 2.3in to 2.6in rubber. The rims also employ a patented BST-Asymmetric shape which promises to create the most reliable tubeless seal.
As for the spokes, they're of the readily available J-bend variety and they're sat in reinforced spoke beds which is combined with the offset drilling of the asymmetrical design, boosting durability.
The Stan's Flow MK4 wheels are available with Microspline, HG, or SRAM XD freehubs and can accommodate either Centerlock or 6-bolt brake rotors. The wheels come pre-fitted with tubeless tape.
So, onto the competition, we're giving away one Stan's Flow MK4 wheelset to one lucky winner. To be in with a chance of winning all you need to do is leave us your best comment in the comment section below before midday on the 17th of October. Good luck!

Hi
I J(ust) spoke to my better half for 30mm. And she agreed that what was drawing us together was a special sort of magnetism. For my part I had no resistance to her charms, she definitely set M(y) Pulse racing. Bearing this in mind, we are pleased to announce a rapid engagement. I am sure this will prove to be a strong and reliable relationship with no weaknesses.
I usually like to adopt a low profile. But on this occasion I wouldn’t even mind being taped.
All the BST
Stan and Flow
PS. I would hope to get a good MK 4 this.
Wow, i'd go places with these
Always wanted to try Gravel biking, let's hope this is the start to a new build 😄
Two wheels are better when "won"!
...these wheels would purr my local trails like an endemic wildcat
Two wheels are a good a start to a new bicycle if there ever was one.
The thought of bulding a new gravel/mtb crossed my mind, these could prove a very good incentive
GL all
Well it turns out that being able to race rapidly downhill while making several tight U turns and spinning everything satin smoothly are all great attributes of a lovely set of wheels, not so great if you are trying to run a country. I'm off to make some U turns.
New to mountain biking as a 50 y/o veteran being treated for ptsd these would take some aches and pains away from my old legs as my current wheels feel like they are square
Would love a pair of these
Love these wheels for my MTB boyfriend - he might even propose!
great wheels
A chance to convert my old Cube into a tubeless version and escape into nature.
If I were lucky enough to win this set of truly great Stan's wheels, they'd increase the value of my ride to £900.
Such lovely wheels!
These Stans rims would look wheely good on my MTB. 😁

The Mk3 were great wheels. Really like the Mk4 spec
Good man Stan. But what you gonna do if I've got your wheels?
Awesome set of wheels, spectacuar specs and stunnong look.
It would be a perfect upgrade for my bike, as my existing hub is dying and needs replacing.
