The film made by Markus Stitz and narrated by Mark Beaumont himself documents Mark's efforts and experiences of the GBDURO.
250 hopeful competitors applied for just 60 places but when it came to pedalling off of the start line in wales, only half of the field turned up. Only 14 finished the race.
GBDURO is a self-supported race that takes competitors over 2000km from Land's End to John O' Groats, taking in gravel, road and singletrack. The ride is made up of four timed stages, each 500km in length where the lowest aggregate time wins. However, there is no prize.

The organisers are very environmentally conscious and as such, have taken a 'no fly' approach. It's pretty self-explanatory, don't fly in order to get to the event.
