Syncros bolsters wheel range with the Revelstoke 1.0s
Using the Silverton range as a blueprint, Syncros has developed the Revelstoke 1.0S carbon wheels designed for anything from trail to enduro riding. They feature a complete redesign with a wider internal width and a shallower rim depth in a bid to boost compliance and comfort.

With the new Revelstoke 1.0s wheels, Syncros aimed to create a lighter wheelset for trail and enduro riding. Compared to previous generations, Syncros claims a 29% total weight reduction, resulting in a 1,500g weight for the complete wheelset.
It's not just about saving those grams, however, as Syncros has taken a look at the rim's carbon lay-up, mass distribution, and lateral stiffness, too. With this, the engineers have designed a rim that's shallower while using a new hookless rim. The hook thickness has then been increased to boost impact resistance.
As for the hardware, the new wheelset roll on DT Swiss 240s hubs with the Ratchet EXP 36 tech along with DT Swiss Aerolite spokes and Pro Lock nipples. The Revelstoke 1.0 wheelset that runs alongside the 1.0s model gets DT Swiss 370 hubs with spokes and nipples supplied by Syncros. That wheelset is then claimed to weigh 1,650g.
The Syncros Revelstoke 1.0s are priced at £2,400 while the 1.0 model will set you back £1,700.
