Sendhit unveils the Nock handguards - New handguards designed especially for mtb
Sendhit has noticed that the growing variety of handguards on the market hasn't strayed too far from their motocross inspiration and has launched the Nock handguards. They're designed especially with mountain bikers in mind to keep hands safe, promising ample coverage and a light weight.

2020 has seen a number of brands introduce handguards to the mountain bike market but Sendhit has noticed that many are merely modified guards taken from motocross bikes.
With that, the brand has created Nock Handguards, handguards designed from scratch, especially for mountain bikes.
The Nock Handguards are made using high-end polyamide nylon with aluminium brackets. The whole package is then set to weigh in at 169g per pair and only take up 10mm of bar space. A single guard is 150mm wide, and 65mm tall.
Sendhit doesn't believe that bigger necessarily means better and as such, the brand has opted for a more compact and discreet design with the Nock Handguards. The shape has been designed to offer coverage exactly where you need it, and the bottom has been extended to cover brake levers.
Its distance from the bar is adjustable too. This is because Sendhit thinks that the shorter the distance the guard is from the hand, the better protection it can offer. There's 12mm of adjustment so you can adjust the distance according to how you set up for brake levers.
While it's claimed that the handguard doesn't protrude from the end of the bars the Nock Handguard is shaped to ensure complete protection regardless of the guard's distance from the bars.
Something else that sets the Nock Handguards out from the rest is that there's impact-absorbing foam sorted with MicroSHOCK tech for extra protection should you seriously punch a tree. It's also reinforced for optimised stiffness and impact protection, says the brand.
Another really neat touch is that Sendhit has teamed up with nldesigns in order to offer 32 customisation options with more to come in the future.
A pair of Sendhit's Nock Handguards will set you back £60.
