For 2020 RockShox has brought a host of updates to their trail and enduro range of suspension forks, along with a brand new DebonAir air spring. Seeing in updates are the Lyric, Pike, Yari, and Revelation all of which get the new air spring.
Designed to make the most of every millimeter, the new DebonAir air spring is optimized to keep a higher ride height, perfect for steep and techy riding. By moving the air piston relative to the dimple the brand has increased the ride height from top out to sag, offering more initial support.
Getting the new air spring is the Lyrik Ultimate and Select. The DebonAir spring is paired with a Charger 2.1 RC2 damper and low friction SKF wiper seals. There's also Maxima Plush dampening fluid to keep the forking riding nice and quietly while reducing friction. The Select model gets the Charger RC damper with low speed compression adjustment.
The Lyrik is available in both 650b and 29" sizes with 150mm, 160mm, 170mm, and 180mm travel choices. There's a choice of offsets with the Lyrik, you can choose from 37mm or 46mm in the 650b size, then the 29er set gets either 42mm or 51mm offsets. The Lyrik Ultimate will set you back £930 whilst the Select costs £730.
The trail friendly Pike Ultimate and Select models get the same DebonAir treatment with the Ultimate using the Charger 2.1 RC2 damper and the Select with the Charger RC.
The Pike gets the same Maxima Plush fluid as the Lyriks and is available in 130mm, 140mm and 150mm travel options. It's also available in 650b (46mm offset), 29" (42mm offset), 29"+ (51mm offset) flavours.
For a Pike Ultimate, it'll cost you £870 with the Select model costing £680.
The brands budget friendly enduro fork, the Yari shares the same chassis and the new DebonAir spring as the Lyrik. However, it gets the Motion Control damper with low speed compression adjustment and also gets new graphics.
The Yari comes in 650b (46mm offset), 29" (42mm offset) and 29"+ (51mm offset) sizes with a choice of 150mm, 160mm, 170mm and 180mm. The price for the Yari comes in at £480.
Finally, RockShox' Revelation uses the same chassis as the Pike and gets the new DebonAir damper. As with the Yari, it gets updated graphics and the Motion Control Damper. There are also 35mm Fast Black stanchions on the Revelation.
The Revelation is available in 650b with a 46mm offset and 29" with a 42mm offset. You have a choice of 120mm, 130mm, 140mm and 150mm travel. If a Revelation is something that tickles your fancy, you'll have to part with £480 to make a set yours.
